Learn about our current residents

The program asked residents for a favorite memory or experience from Residency or Madison.  Here are the responses:

  • Attending Concerts on the Square with my co-residents.
  • Discovering new nature trails to walk or bike along.
  • Summer bike rides to Tenney Park with a stop by the ice cream shop on the way home… makes for an excellent summer evening!
  • Friendsgiving with my class.
  • All the pop-up music and art festivals in Madison.  Always something free and fun to do.
  • Finding out my class was dope on the first day of orientation.
  • Favorite memory of intern year (so far) is getting ice cream at 1am with the night team while on night float.
  • Being able to go SUP or kayak all summer long and not even have to leave town.
  • Co-residents are really great; not a singular event that stands out but I know I can rely on them for support with a difficult interaction or have someone to grab a drink after work.
  • Some of my favorite memories have come from our annual resident retreat – great times bonding with my classmates and getting to know one another outside of work.
  • Every event where I got to spend time with my co-residents outside of work; they have been a major positive part of my residency experience.
  • Going to Concerts on the Square every Wednesday of the summer and sailing on Lake Mendota.
