We want to maintain high standards, but also build an environment of support and well-being where residents can thrive.

The department offers strong clinical services, excellent teachers, and world-class research – with faculty who are approachable and supportive. We have also committed to improving our efforts in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This is moving how we approach recruitment of residents and faculty, teaching, and how we provide clinical care to all in our community.

As a member of the GME team, I enjoy from actively participating in the residents’ journey as they dive into the many areas of Psychiatry.  Witnessing their growth and evolution from orientation days to graduation fills me with great pride.  I feel our residency program prioritizes the well-being of our residents, both on a professional and personal level.  Being a part of such a nurturing environment, where residents are provided with the support and resources they need to thrive, makes my role as the GME Program Administrator all the more fulfilling.  I look forward to continuing this rewarding journey and learning more from current and future aspiring psychiatrists.
